Warwick “Human Futures” Seminar (or shameless self promotion…)

The University of Warwick’s Human Futures seminar recently discussed my book manuscript, provisionally titled Biology and the Making of British Sociology. The manuscript was presented and, largely, I have to say, defended, by Steve Fuller, who also recorded the discussion and posted it on his website.

I’ve given the recording a listen and will be posting some thoughts on it soon. However, I wanted to draw attention to the recording as a way of saying thanks to all those who took part. In many ways, it’s the ultimate academic ego trip to think you’re work is being discussed somewhere by people who aren’t already friends. Nevertheless, those who participated haven’t bought into everything I have to say on the subject and, consequently, they’ve given me a great deal to think about. Thanks!
